Well, after popular demand, (and my willingness to start keeping track of these 
) I've been "commissioned" to start this thread. This thread will be the start of a list of cards which players make "guest appearances" on other players' cards.
So what is a guest appearance, you might ask? See THIS thread. Simply put, the guest appearance player is not the main focus of the card. (On page 4, there is a scan of a Greg Gagne card with Andre Dawson sliding in. THAT is a true definition of the guest appearance.)
I've started to compile a list of all the "guest appearances" I can find. However, I don't think I can do it alone. So how can you help? In any of two ways:
1.) Provide me with as much information of the card as possible. I would need:
- Guest appearance player (If only a number is provided, shoot me the number and the team. I'll figure it out. )
- Card description (for example, 1993 Upper Deck Jose Lind ###)
- If the guest appearance is on the front or the back
- The team in which the GUEST APPEARANCE PLAYER is pictured in.
2.) Provide me, or direct me to, a scan of the card (front or back; I only need the side in which the player/coach/manager/whatever is pictured on.)
Anyone in a major league uniform counts; other players, managers, coaches, etc. Unfortunately, I don't have powers to tell what fans are sitting in the front row as Derek Jeter knocks nachos out of their hands, so we can't do that...yet.
The next post will be a complete listing of what I have SO FAR. Eventually I'm going to get a website started dealing with all of these, and I'll try and find a way to thank all of you who have helped so far on there. But without further adu, dig out those commons boxes, look for those "rare" Donruss parallels, but let's look for those Guest Appearances!
