The worst buyback card ever!

I was going through some stuff, and found this little gem

1988 Opeechee Alan Trammell #320. I pulled this card out of a box
of 08 UD baseball, its a buyback card. Now please understand, I have
nothing against Trammell, I think he was a great player

But the fact remains that this card is worth about 3cents. I remember
being so excited when I seen the plastic sleeve inside the pack with
the "Congratulations" card showing. I looked up the topps version of
this and its worth 5cents. I called the card shop and asked how much
the opeechee version was worth and he said half the value of Topps.

Needless to say, I wasn't too happy with this pull, but now it always
makes me laugh when I come accross this card

If anyone out there has this beat, PLMK.

In 08 UD put a ton of worthless OpeeChee 'buyback' cards in their release due to the soon-thereafter arrival of their reborn 'Opeechee" product. I pulled plenty of junk as well that was inserted with odds.

I've pulled plenty of 80's cards....but, the best one I pulled was a 1957 Topps *** Wee Reese

Worst one I can remember pulling was a 1990 Topps Traded Franklin Stubbs base card out of a box of Topps. I think I still have it too.

I also got a buyback OPC out of 08 UD. Can't for the life of me remember the guy's name. It was a pitcher I'd never heard of though.

In 1991 when Topps put one of each historical card in its packs I pulled a 1987 Kirt Manwaring.

As disappointing as it may be, it is a lot better than a pure common! Trammell had a lot of good years and is a borderline HOF guy. Even if the card is from the junk years, there are 1000s of worse possibilities.

How about a 1987 Topps Paul Zuvella?
