A couple of orginal Royals. Northey, by the way, spanked the ball when he came up in September '69, as I recall, and ran like the wind. Then after the Royal acquired Amos Otis to play centerfield, Northey was out of baseball just a couple of years later. Never really quiet understood why he didn't get more of a chance. I always wondered what happened....
