Topps Archives Signature Series

One card per box

I received this one:

Sorry for the 'fuzzy' scan - the card is in a sealed holder from Topps.

1985 Topps Buy Back Auto #ed to 7

Ken Griffey - Yankees

Boxes / pack are going for about $50 here in Orlando - if you can find one. One dealer said he had 80 - sold out very quickly and if he had had 1000 - he could have easily sold them.

The cards are numbered - some are 1/1, #ed to 2, 3, 7, 24, 71, 199 and probably several others.... Players are varied, just as the cards are varied. Ken Griffey has several different cards, each numbered to different levels.

This seems to be a very hot item and is an excellent issue for the player collector with literally lots of different cards and lot of different levels to choose from. It might prove to be one heck of a hill to climb to get one of each for those super collectors out there.

Overall grade A

If you find a Ray or 2 - let me know - maybe we can work a deal of some kind.
