Topps Chrome is a premium issue -- 200 chrome full bleed cards. Chrome is an issue for most - the player collector, the set builder, rookie collector, and the autograph collector. Most should be able to find their niche somewhere in the issue. The design is the same as the base set this year. Refractors are clearly marked with 'refractor' under the number on the reverse. The shimmers are not marked and sometimes difficult to distinguish.
Chrome has a number of parallels - blue, green, gold, purple along with a negative or black - your choice as to what to call it. There may be variations.... but I am not aware of them.

Hobby boxes are going for $120 and jumbos (with 5 autos) for $230 here in O'do. Depending totally on collation, one should be able to complete a base set with 3-4 boxes --- IF you get the right boxes... I purchased 2 additional boxes and am still 60 or so short of a set.
Overall grade A --- cards look great!
Go buy several boxes and see what parallels and/or autos you pull.
