45 unique base cards of the 100 card set -- 45% -- theoretically, should only take 3 master boxes to complete the base set.
Finest is a premium issue. The cards are thick, with a chrome mirror-like finish. The front has a new design this year - a bit busy, but still sharp. Rookie cards have the RC designation - player name and team logo are easy to read. The reverse has both personal and pro stats along with a Performance write up. The card number is a bit hard to read and again no designation for refractors.... one has to be careful when trading or selling.
I am bit disappointed at the player selection. Maybe the set could be expanded to 150 or 200 cards to include more from each team.... just an idea.
If there ever was a Goldschmidt box.... this is it!

Finest is a good issue for the player collector and set builder. The number of parallels and inserts is not so numerous that a player collector couldn't find each of the needed parallels (obviously with the exception of the 1/1 and printing plates....)
Overall grade B+ -- need a few more base cards for my taste.
Go buy several master boxes and send the Rays parallels to me - IF there are any Rays... can't say I would blame Topps for not including them!
