Topps Million Card giveaway Strasburg news

For those who have unlocked a 2010 Topps Strasburg on the TMCG site,for an additional $350 the first 300 can have their cards autographed by Strasburg. Here's the story:

I wonder how much of that $350 goes back to Strasburg and how much Topps is keeping? I didn't get one either; glad I won't have the temptation.

from what i've seen in the past the most Topps has paid for higher end autos is $50 per....and to get that high you had to be on the exclusives list....so, that's my guess as to what they are paying per auto with Stasburg

Well Topps contracts the player for a certain amount of time. Say one year they pay him accordingly. In other words topps keeps that money. These guys don't charge that kind of money for a single autograph. If they did we would not have a hobby at all. It would be only for the well to do.
