Triple Threads is a premium issue and the cards are printed on heavy stiff stock. The front has an action photo of the player with a matte finish and gold/iridescent foil imprints.
The reverse has personal stats and career pro stats along with Triple Take - a highlight(s) of the players career.
Triple Threads is a good issue for the player collector. There are a number of parallels available along with autos, relics, jumbo relics, triple relics, book cards, and 1/1's to chase. The set builder might have a bit of a hill to climb just receiving 6 base cards in the 2 mini boxes.... without the 'bay, it could take 17 mini boxes to have enough for a base set!!

Triple Threads cards don't really 'pop' to the viewer. They seem a bit subdued. I prefer a brighter card for lack of a better term. With only 100 cards in the set and the set contains retired players, one will only have limited opportunities to get the favorite player from one's favorite team. I still believe that the retired players should be extras in the set - maybe cards 101-140 or so, therefore giving each team at least 3 players in the set -- just my opinion.
Overall grade B+ - need larger set with more current players....
Go buy several master boxes and IF there is a Ray in any form, send it to me!
