My first thread from the new place. Finally was able to get Comcast to set everything up today. We moved a few weeks ago and have had some trouble with getting the service set up, won't go into much detail because everything is working now - it's Friday - it's March Madness! -have one game up on online and another going on the TV - have an adult beverage in hand - and I can finally get on The Bench from home!!!

Anyways have a bunch of various stuff to share...

Will start off with a nice pull from a blaster of 2010 Topps Heritage...sold on eBay:

Next, a nice Loney PC pickup from the Bay - hope to pick up a few more as I'm bidding on a few nice ones now :) :

Next, 8 set hits in from an epic trade with ragtop12!:

And now for the TTM Successes:

Carl Erskine
c/o Address in The Bench's TTM Addresses database
sent: 2-24-10
rec'd: 3-12-10
4/2 - added the two index cards

And last, but certainly not least.
Mr. Ralph Houk
c/o Address in The Bench's TTM Addresses database
sent: 3-1-10
rec'd: 3-12-10
2/1 - Added a signed card, looks like a reprint on the back - great card!
Also, I am pretty sure that Mr. Houk replaced the 1968 Topps with one in better condition! I found the one I sent for $0.50 at the shop and I don't remember it being in as nice of condition as the one I received back! TTM and Baseball legend...

Well, thanks for viewing and Happy Collecting!!!

...now back to the Madness!

Awesome haul! I love all of those pick ups! When ever I see a Bernie Carbo signed card I always think of game 6 of the 1975 World Series and the exchange between Carbo and Pete Rose when Carbo hit the pinch hit 3 run bash to tie the game in the 8th.

Carbo: "Pete, Don't you wish you were this strong!"
Rose: :"This is fun."
