Going with # 10 tday as it was my high school number in basketball

you stole my initials man!
anyways... i'll take 55 please.
my last name is also nelson, so it'd be cool to own a don nelson 1/1 auto. nelson was also a great coach when he took the warriors to the one seed years back with baron davis, monte ellis, maggette, berdenans and crew. hopefully he is enjoying retirement.

Numbers taken: 4, 8, 10, 12, 17, 21, 29, 33, 39, 44, 46, 52, 55, 59, 65, 69, 72, 73.

Great discussion friends, keep it rollin!!!

God Bless,

Kevin

Very cool! I went to high school with Corey Maggette, I remember sitting in the balcony during a basketball game with my Dad, and Corey took a pass to the rim, and I swear the whole balcony was going to come down! Cool memories!

I'll guess 59.

Both White and especially Nelson were prominent when I first started watching basketball back in the day. I never could figure out how Nelson did it with that set shot of his. I was a big Baltimore/Capital/Washington Bullets and ABA fan back then.

Did you know JoJo White's son is an actor? I am familiar with him from a recurring role in "The Shield" but it looks like he has had a pretty good film and TV career. I think his name is Brian White.

That is crazy, he is familiar to me, but didnt realize the relationship! Cool trivia Jeff!

Those are nice customs....since I know nothing about basketball I will refrain from the contest but thanks for doing it Kevin.

Brian, I have no idea how I missed responding to your very nice post before, my apologies, and thanks for your nice words!!

God bless,

Kevin

I will try #49.

When I first moves to Massachusetts I went to a Holy Cross game and right outside was a statue of Bob Cousy. Before I went to the game I had no idea that Cousy and Heinson both went to Holy Cross.

#2 today. For Moses Malone of the Sixers title team!

what's all this Sixers talk??? GREAT team, Dr. J and Moses were a fantastic combo, coming out of the ABA and being such a dominant force in the NBA for so long! Moses was a favorite of mine too, a real star as a young man who turned into a very solid center as his career progressed. Professional from 1974-1995, first in the ABA and then coming on as a 1983 World Champion and Finals MVP....very solid Hall of Famer!

Bob and Tommy are two real Celtics legends, and Tommy is still going as a broadcaster! He waved to us during a break in an interview on court when the Celtics beat the Bulls in Chicago back in 2006, we scored tickets last minute, and sat very close, fun memory!

I see from your sig that you live in Barre, I stayed with a friend of mine in Brighton back in 2002, and we made it to an Eastern Conference Finals game, GREAT time, and my gosh that city loves their Celtics!

I'm going to go with #5 today which I think was Hall of Famer Morton Anderson's # when he was with the Falcons.

And in case anyone was wondering why I mention an NFL player in a basketball topic it is because Kevin and I were wondering about HOF possibilities for kickers in his last contest. A week or two later our questions were answered when Anderson was elected to the Pro Football HOF. I was not sure where to post this and figured this was as good a place as any.

Thanks for the contest! Once again this is very generous of you!!
