What am I missing?

If you collect all of the rings, I believe you can exchange them for a real Topps diamond ring. The Mantle is the "chase" ring, which is why it's the one that everyone's looking for. (Kinda like the "Boardwalk" piece was in the old McDonalds Monopoly game. You got a million Park Places, but there was only one Boardwalk out there.)

I wonder how rare these really are. On ebay there's the current auction plus three in completeds.

I heard that there are only 60 Mantle Rings and they are the hardest ones to get.

60 rings is what I have heard/read as well. But I guess if you have gathered up the other 59 with codes and such, I would think the Mantles as they appear will each seemingly increase in price. But that is just a thought, as 59 virtual rings doesn't get you the prize.

Be sure to read the fine print. The "Diamond" ring you are tracking down is not really a "Diamond" at all. In Topps' disclosure, the ring is valued at $200.

Look at Section (C), as well as the white box. The odds of unlcoking one of those Mantle rings is 1:5,000. It also states that only one 60th anniversary ring can be redeemed per person. There are going to be some people that are seriously p.o.'d.

While we're on the subject, is the Koufax ring also one of those HTG ones? I have over 150 trade offers and more than 100 want the Koufax ring.

Thanks,
Dan
