Hey Everyone -
Wow! The hits just keep rolling in - it's hard to top the 7 TTMs that I got yesterday, but I got 10 successes today, plus 1 RTS, and 2 Ebay! Let's go...
Six Former Phillies:
Cater, Danny (OF - 1964) (Signed 2 CICs)
3268 Candiewood Trail
Plano TX 75923
Christenson, Larry (P - 1973-1983) (Signed 2 CICs)
1465 Le Boutillier Rd.
Malvern, PA 19355
Culver, George (P - 1973-1974) (Signed 2 CICs)
5409 Rustic Canyon St
Bakersfield, CA 93306
Mr. Culver also included his own signed index card with the inscription "7/29/68 No-Hitter Cinci. Reds".
Franklin, Ryan (P - 2006) (Signed 2 CICs)
c/o St. Louis Cardinals
250 Stadium Plaza
St. Louis, MO 63102
Herbert, Ray (P - 1965-1966) (Signed 2 CICs)
9360 Taylors Turn
Stanwood, MI 49346-9686
Lepcio Ted (IF - 1960) (Signed 2 CICs)
263 Greelodge St.
Dedham, MA 02026
One old Flyers' Head Coach:
Allen, Keith (Head Coach - 1967-1969) (Signed 2 CICs)
C/o Philadelphia Flyers
3601 South Broad St.
Philadelphia, PA 19148
And two Football successes:
Blanda, George (QB - HOU - 1960-1966) (Signed 1 CIC)
18 Forest Gate Circle
Oakbrook, IL 60523
Unfortunately, Mr. Blanda signed only 1 CIC of the 2 I sent and he made it out to me, and not to my nephew - the main reason I'm sending out to NFLers. Oh well, a nice success, nonetheless.
Neighbors, Billy (BOS - Guard - 1962-65) (Signed 2 CICs)
1904 Chippendale Dr
SE Huntsville, AL 35801-1309
One RTS:
Tripucka, Frank (Notre Dame - QB - 1946-1948)
23 Avon Dr
Essex Falls, NJ 07021
I've seen recent successes at this address, but mine came back and I'm not sure why. No reason is checked on and "FOE" is written on the envelope. Oh well, at least I got my SASE back to try again.
And I've recently realized that I can buy Index cards of deceased players on Ebay (I just didn't realize this before) and my 1st two arrived today:
Two deceased Phillies from Ebay:
Buhl, Bob (P - 1966-1967) (b. 1928 - d. 2001)
Church, Bubba (P - 1950-1952) (b. 1924 - d. 2001)
Wow! What a mail day!!
I'll be adding these addresses to the database when I get a chance.
Thanks for looking!!
