Hey all,
I can't find this in the becket. 09 Topps Chrome has a World Baseball Classic insert set but Jeter is #W100. eBay has conflicting descriptions including the card came from 09 Bowman or 09 Topps or 09 Topps Chrome.

Beckett.com says it may be a 09 Topps World Baseball Classic Box Set

My card is #2 on the back. It looks like a REF but does not say refractor on the back.

Any definite answer on this one?

Thanks,

That would be this one.

2009 Topps World Baseball Classic Rising Star Redemption #2 Derek Jeter

You get these from the WBC redemptions from 2009 series 1 Topps.

It's definitley not this

2009 Topps World Baseball Classic Box Set #2 Derek Jeter

I had #9 out of that set...thought all of the rising stars had a silver border? These are confusing

Also, if you are wondering about bv it is listed as NA as is the whole set for some reason. These cards have been out for over 6 months and they still can't come up with a BV on them. That is ridiculous.

hmmm...interesting...i traded my #9 so dont have it to look at anymore...i think they used the same pic on another card...maybe it was a bowman chrome version or something?

So all the 2009 Topps World Baseball Classic Rising Star Redemptions are REFRACTORS?

Is that the difference between:
2009 Topps World Baseball Classic Box Set #2 Derek Jeter
AND
2009 Topps World Baseball Classic Rising Star Redemption #2 Derek Jeter

They are all refractors.

Don't know why but I did the whole set.

The unredeemed card is bv$10. So I'm guessing the Jeter and Dice-k are
at least worth $15-20.

All of the Rising Star Redemptions were printed with the Topps Chrome technology/paper.

This comes in a factory set and is a regular Topps card.
