I pulled this last night. SUPER rare /25. But….you know the deal

Thinking I may ask Topps for something else, which is a crapshoot

Could sit on it

Redeem it and sell it?

Donate the money?

What do you all think?

I heard but haven’t researched that they are offering replacements for Wander redemptions because Topps isn’t really going to get anything signed by him unless they already did.

Yeah, I'd say redeem it and see what happens. Worst case, you get a low-numbered card that maybe someone needs to complete a collection at some point and they pinch their nose and buy it. Best case, you get a replacement that you can actually use.

(Okay, technically "best case" is they send you a Ruth/Aaron/Jackie Robinson triple cut auto instead, but you know what I mean.)

Thanks all for your thoughts! Worth noting this is a 1:18,000 packs pull, and is /25.

I have asked Topps for guidance and made clear to them I won’t just hope for the best. I’d like to know what they will send me if I ask for a replacement. Intimated I’d like a Julio from this set but….we’ll see!

I think you are over reaching considering Wander’s stuff is basically trash so I doubt you will get a Julio but good luck.

yeah I am kinda hoping for a Julio base auto which is comparable…>I don’t think they’ll do a /25 auto relic. I’ll let you guys know what they say!

Not sure how they'll provide 2x-4x market value for it considering none of these have sold.
The closest thing you can find is a red ink auto that sold for $170. If that's the case, a J-ROD Heritage Auto isn't out of the question considering it goes for $500-$650 depending on the day

My buddy redeemed his 2022 Wander Topps Chrome some parallel (not numbered) and received a letter and a "comparable" valued auto (their words). He got some abstract rookie, I never heard of. Good Luck, you want get anything other than the standard letter I suspect.

Yes, at least it was an auto.

good luck with negotiating, not sure how it all works. Hopefully you dont get up against the wall before the redemption window

Well, they have extended the redemption windows from 2 years to 10. So I’m okay there

I don’t know either but I am going back and forth with a guy at Topps….we’ll see!
