Just wondering where everyone buys new releases?

Walmart never has anything, Walgreens only has basketball, I do not have a Tagrget near me, Topps.com sells out too fast and the closest local card store is over an hour away and has weird hours.

Everyone who has new product where do you get it?

I know about Blowout and Dave and Adam’s along with Steel City, but those are typically well above retail that it makes no sense.

This is the biggest reason I keep saying I am getting out of the hobby, but I enjoy it so much it’s hard to stop.

I just got rid of almost everything and would like to try and get back into 2025 products, but at these prices it makes no sens.

if and when I have the $$ I buy from Dave/Adams there a few hours from me if I place the order before 7am it goes out
on the first truck out the Fedex hub is 45 mins away and there has been times I've received same day between 4-5pm

Normally its Walmart but anything new is hard to come by as its all picked through before the vendor stocks the shelf
such as Series-2 Tops

A Target opened up in the Area been there a fews time always managed to find something like a 25 Bowman Chrome Mega Box which I pulled a 25 Bowman Chrome Red Mojo Refractor 1 Mike Trout 2/5

Thanks guys. I guess Inwill keep hoping to get lucky. I don’t get to get to Walmart until the weekends and everything is gone. I get home from work around 6-7pm, and my wife could go, but that’s too much to put on her to try and find or get.

I will keep looking or maybe just not collect new stuff, but I love ripping wax! Maybe find some cheap boxes of something on eBay to satisfy the itch, but even the cheap stuff is not cheap anymore!

maybe try target or Wal Mart's website. Just a thought. And I know that at least Target accepts Affirm payments. Which is like a credit card, but a lot lower interest.

Target and Walmart near me stock on Thursdays, so if I go there before a weekend, I may get lucky. We have a LCS run by clowout near me too. Best source of new stuff for sets is still the weekend shows. lots of busted breaks for base and inserts end up in quarter boxes or higher.

I do cringed when the 30 insert cards cost me like 20-30 dollars, but then I think of a Blaster cost at Target. Not sure why the feeling is different when I should feel better getting cards I need for 30 then a pile of base and 6 inserts. weird

I've had luck finding cards at Barnes & Noble. But I usually just order online from Target, Best Buy or B&N.

Yeah, B&N is a is a great spot.

my top five for buying cards are...

1.) retail giants like Barnes & Noble, Walmart and Target for blasters
2.) COMC for singles
3.) my local flea market which has a couple of pretty good regular dealers
4.) my area's quarterly Sports Card Show
5.) Sportlots to help me snag missing Royals base card needs

Flea markets could be a good source, thanks for that idea! The closest B&N or BAM to me is 40 miles away and I would rather not drive that far away.

Card shows, flea markets,,a few local card shops,eBay,Sportlots and online card forums like this one. Haven't quite pulled the trigger on COMC yet and just like the space port Mos Eisley,WhatNot is a place full of s-c-u-m and villiany.
