I have the 4 album stickers of Lynn Dickey and John Jefferson so go ahead and mark those pending,

I had totally forgotten about John Jefferson laying with the Packers. I could not figure out why you wanted him until I pulled his stickers. And I thought you wanted Lynn Dickey as one of those Oscar Gamble type hair players. LOL

I'll bet those 1977 Holsum Bread cards are cool. Was Carl Eller a Packer late in his career? I see the other players are Packers so Eller stood out as odd. I was also surprised to see Ron Dayne having cards in 2012. I thought he had washed out of the NFL after a few years, unless those are throwback cards of his in 2012.

Thanks for the response. I added Eller because the Holsum cards picture Packers and Vikings. Eller looks like one tough customer! Besides, I still dislike the Bears more than the Vikings!

If I remember, your lists are hard on me. Have you added anything lately?

Have a very Happy Thanksgiving my friend!

Chris

I have added more want lists and I'll need a little time to get them organized and emailed to you. I know I still have your email address.

Eller was a tough looking dude and was really ahead of his time when it comes to the combination of size and athletic ability. Funny how the University of Minnesota had both Eller and Bobby Bell around the same time period who were very similar in size, build and athleticism. Minnesota and Michigan State both benefitted in the 1960s from the Southern schools not allowing blacks to play. I'm not sure where Eller was from but Bell was from North Carolina.

I'll get back to you with those lists in a few days and with more hits as well, I'm sure. I can always use the last 3 cards from the 1985 Gardner's Brewers if you ever come across any of more those again like you did earlier this year. Man, I was really happy to get those from you!

The older I get, the more I enjoy researching the history behind the athletes I follow. Thank you for the info on Eller and Bell. Great players.

I added Doug Flutie because I remember watching the Boston College versus Miami game while babysitting my niece way back when. Have loved BC since that day! Strange how one game, one moment can make a lifelong impression!

I hope you’re having a great Thanksgiving!!

Chris
