I had today off and UTA is hosting a tournament about 5 mins from me. So I got there top 9, Houston Baptist leading Stephen F. Austin 2-1...SFA scores 3 in the 9th and goes up 4-2. I'm thinking, great, get my autos and then head home. SFA implodes and with bases loaded on a 3-2 pitch with 2 outs, there is an infield single which scores the runner from 2nd(who was running on the pitch). So it goes extras.....
SFA scores in the 12th to take the lead and Houston Baptist ties it up again and then botches a suicide squeeze with one out(batter never even attempted to bunt)...So on to the 13th and finally Houston Baptist again gets a runner to third and executes the suicide bunt to win 6-5. About ten mins later, i got my autos...Spent a lot longer than planned; but it was free, i got 3 gu NCAA balls and saw a pretty intense game.
