Strange..... happen to anyone else?

Ok so I am really confused today.

On 2/25/2011 I sent 2 cards (08 A&G) to Orlando Hudson to the Padres Spring Training. So today I go to open up the envelop and notice that he did not sign it. But my letter was also in there with some black perm. marker on it. So I looked at it and this is what it said:

"This isn't me, look at the card buddy send something else. I don't wear Reebok and I'm not that short." Signed Alberto Callaspo

So I looked at my spreadsheet that I keep and I sent the card to the Padres ST address. i am really confused b/c I don't know how Alberto got these cards b/c I didn;t address the envelope to him. Plus I don't have any Callaspo cards to send to him.

The only thing I can think of is the Padres ST may be at the same facility as the Angels who Callaspo plays for.

Any suggestions?


Oh yeah I did receive Adam Jones signed today on a 09 A&G and 10 Topps Turkey Red.

Did you send to Callaspo at the same time as Hudson? I'm thinking you might have put the wrong cards in the wrong envelope if that is the case...

Good to see you got those guys - I'm still waiting on Jones and Hudson from last year, and didn't bother w/ Alberto.

I dont have a card of Callspo so I know I didn't send him one. Only thing i may have done was wrote the wrong address down on the envelope but I know it was not addressed to Hudson. Oh well, this spring training has been a weird one for me, very up and down..

The 08 Ginters of Hudson have Callaspo pictured. Hudson sends back that note if you send that card to him. He also does not sign Dodgers cards and will send back a note saying so.

That's better than what I got from Hudson last year - nothing. I also made sure to not send the 08 A&G or any Dodgers cards.

I've heard this from someone else too, funny. And yes, the Cabrera 08A&G is Callaspo, not Hudson.
