I was going to show this in the recent pick-up thread, but I figured it would be buried by Bagwells and A's items
.
I don't have it in hand yet, but the seller is an acquaintance of mine who I know from a now defunct card shop and is local, so I will probably arrange an in-person pick up if I can.
This is a team acknowledgement roster sheet from the 1975 Bellingham Dodgers. This is the first year of organized ball for a young 18 year old pitcher named Dave Stewart, who was 0-5 that year (the team was 17-61!!) but would go on to some decent success at the MLB level! Although very cool to have him, I was actually more interested in the three other future big leaguers; Myron White, Mark Bradley & Brad Gulden. All are more obscure and seemingly tougher (either that, or nobody really cares enough to list any) signatures, and this is as close to "certified" as you can get for that era. I also like the local history aspect. Bellingham is about 1.5 hour drive north of where I live. They hosted a number of MLB affiliates from 1973-1996 (Dodgers, Mariners & Giants), including a team that featured Ken Griffey Jr. in the late 80s.
Sadly, no other players cracked the bigs from this roster, otherwise this could have been quite a hot Dodger collectible.
