Can newbies still access the site? I had provided the link to a good trader but he couldn't get the page to load. I can't figure out how to load the image, but the message was this:

Web page blocked

Access to the web page you were trying to visit has been blocked in accordance with company policy. Please contact your system administrator if you believe this is an error.

Any help is appreciated. Can't tell if this is a Bench issue or on his side. I have no issue getting to the site but my shortcut takes me directly in. Thanks

Scott

Spamming includes advertising for another trading site and/or including an unapproved affiliate or referral link in your posts or signature.

There are many trading sites on the Internet, and they all have their advantages and disadvantages. We ask that members of The Bench do not go to the other sites and advertise our site, and we ask that members of other sites do not come here to advertise their sites. It's impolite and continued spamming of the boards will result in the suspension of your account.

Information on what are and are not an acceptable Links, can be found in the Links in Signature section of the Bench Policies FAQ...... I found this on the FAQ site.....maybe because of the above...the link is being blocked? Best regards, David

At my last job I would get the same message when on their network trying to access this site. I believe that was caused by an underlying issue on the site, but I am not technical enough to understand much more than that.

That sounds like he was trying to use a company computer some companies block websites that are not considered to be part of the business they conduct or they perceive to be a security risk.
