WOW! That is a great item.

That has to be from 1963, 1964 or 1965. The Chiefs moved to Kansas City in 1963 and there is no Miami game on the schedule. Miami joined the AFL in 1966 so that eliminates anything from '66 or later.
You got it, Jeff! 1963! That football reference website is amazing... it has EVERYTHING you could ever need to know about anything football! It threw me for a second when I saw Boston as a team... then it hit me... New England. DUHHH!!!

I don't know much but I do know my old football especailly the 1960s. LOL

I love the "here" "there" designations vs home and away.

Neat item I found in a box recently... went to a charity baseball game in Frisco, TX in '09 and there were dozens of big name players on the rosters so I decided to try for a few autos. I brought along a Cowboys Mini-Helmet for D. Ware to sign, even. Well the place was PACKED!! Mainly with kids, but also with shmucks carrying big duffle bags of mini-helmets/footballs/baseballs... you name it, they had it... they were there to get the player's auto then sell it. I hung back and watched the chaos until I saw Ware head to the dugout and pushed my way to the front... he signed the helmet... but just his initials! I was bummed. I just stayed in that spot to see who else might come by, Marty Turco signed my program first, then Marcus Spears came along and signed... then the Original 88 came meandering towards me. He talked to this kid next to me for about 5 minutes about life choices, playing football, and being true to yourself. Very insightful person... while he was talking I slyly handed him my program and he signed as well. I could have gotten Moose's auto but I have about 20 of them. All I wanted to do was shake his hand. He seemed very confused by this gesture! So ya, here are a few autos I got back in the day...

Glad to see the original 88 was Drew Pearson and not that Mitchell Irving guy. I'd have had to kick you out of the cool kids club had you done that.

No no no... I understand the pecking order in The 88 Club. There's 1a: Pearson, and 1b: That Mitchell Irving Guy...

All right, I did some looking around. The Cowboys do not have a monopoly on uniform numbers.
Hall of Famers Alan Page and John Mackey, precede those guys.
Also 2x All-Pro Packers and Lions TE Ron Kramer
And of course, the Dolphins' own Jim Mandich (Wolverine).

I know you've heard of The 88 Club... for those who haven't, that number is now 'given' to a WR who is drafted by The Cowboys. Michael Irvin, Antonio Bryant, Dez Bryant, and CeeDee Lamb were each given the jersey number. Drew Pearson is considered The Original 88 but there were a few players that wore it before him. It's become honorary to be allowed to wear 88 after Pearson's and Irvin's careers wearing 88 and it carries with it high expectations to be the one to wear it. I could go on and on about this but I'll leave it at this, The Cowboys don't retire any players number, but there's a reason you don't see players wearing 12, 74, 8, or 22 for The Cowboys...

I have the Hodges mirror like those. Would love to have others, but those would be a bear to ship. Cost more than the mirrors themselves are worth.
the smaller ones are easy to ship but the 4' x 2' are impossible. I'm trying to sell them locally and have had zero interest.
