That guy was a fierce competitor He is the biggest reason the Broncos had that vaunted Orange Crush defense. They went from cellar dwellers to Super Bowl contenders under his leadership.

He was such an intense competitor that he said he refused to shake hands with opponents after the game. I much prefer that attitude versus the one know where the players have bromances with each other.

I really like him and Chris Berman doing NFL Primetime for all those years. Berman because I understood most of his crazy references and Jackson because of his analysis and humor.

Decided to start a new PC adventure. Already showed the card that gave me the idea... I'm sure you old school guys can figure out what I'm doing.

I'm not only Old School but also just plain old and I cannot figure out what youtr new collecting project is.

Love the Concrete Charlie card with the single bar face mask! With facial protection like that, you can see why those guys were so good looking! LOL At least that is better than what my dad had when he played for Syracuse in the late 40s which was no facemask at all..........and he had the nose to prove it. One of my brothers said from the side he looked like the Indian on the old Buffalo nickel. LMAO!!!

I'm gunna start collecting cards of NFL players that served in the military. I have a short list of guys right now but it's already been interesting researching what they did. They're all heroes in my book, but a few are flat out bad a** mofos!! Like Chuck, here, was in a bomber in WWII flying missions over Germany.

You're gonna need Glenn Davis and Doc Blanchard - Mr Outside and Mr Inside. Heisman '46 and '45. And I have no doubt you're already overloaded with Staubachs.
