This just crossed my mind... do The Brewers have their own beer they brew and sell at the ballpark? If not... they should!
The new restaurant, that replaced the Front Row Friday's is Called Linenekugels Barrell Yard, and I do believe that brew somethings in house but not completely sure.

I do feel like, they should bring back Bernie Brewers original slide, at County Stadium he would slide into a beer mug that would release balloons after hone runs. My idea would be to bring it back, put it above the Miller High life section (21 and older) and instead of balloons have confetti with either a free beer or a percent off of a Miller product.

Linenekugel's actually has a pretty good IPA... you should be able to tell if they brew on premises with those big silos full of beer... mmmmmm.... beer.
I doubt they have the man power to do it all there though.
I'm all about free beer floating down from the heavens! I can see a few fights happening cuz of it, tho. But free beer is worth a black eye now and then... unless it's Coor's Light!!

I got bored one day and was looking at the 5th SB ring I was sent damaged... I thought, I could do something with this. So I plucked (more like dug) out all the big "crystals" and just started painting...

This is how it looks unpainted:

And painted... I know the close-up shows flaws in my painting skills... but this was my first attempt at something like this!!

No, my dad attended Lehman High School though. A couple of my friends went to school with his son.
I had no clue until you made your previous post that he was from Canton. I also did not know he was the 4th pick in the 1968 MLB Draft, The poor Indians picked 6th that year or I'll bet they would have picked him being from the region, Although they did have a young, up and coming catcher in Ray Fosse, who appeared to be destined for stardom until some guy (can't remember who it was) plowed into him at home plate and injured his shoulder in the All Star Game.

I was searching my old "house" for some Christmas ornaments and came across 2 big boxes of Life magazines. I only went through the first box. These are the highlights. There was one with The Beatles on the cover but it was in such bad condition I left it there. Gotta see what's in the second box soon!

Where did you get those? You are too young of a whippersnapper to remember Life Magazine.

To remember... maybe, but to know about them... not at all. Time magazine put Life out of business. Life covered alot of politics and war since Nixon and Vietnam were going on at the magazine's peak.
I also snagged a Feb. 1964 issue with Lee Harvey Oswald on the cover. That black and white photo his ****** wife took of him in their backyard of him holding the rifle that he shot Kennedy with. Just eerie. Makes me think about the craziness that happened that day.

If you ever come across a Life magazine leading up to SB !, see if you can find a hilarious picture of my guy Fred "The Hammer" Williamson sitting with a huge plate of chicken bones in front of him. He was talking about what he was going to do to the Packers WRs with his hammer. I always wanted to see that photo again, Loved The Hammer!!!! He left a huge impression on a young whippersnapper later to be known as SymphonicMetal.

63 years ago yesterday. Insane to think about the fact that after the assassination, the limo was cleaned, refurbished with a hard top added and continued to be used in the presidential motorcade until Reagan's first term.

I lived an hour away from the depository for almost 30 years. Went there once. They made it into a sort of museum... the window Oswald shot from is recreated to look like it did when he was perched there.
On the street next to the grassy knoll there's an X where the head shot happened. When there weren't any cars coming I went to the X with my camera, knelt down to about where Kennedy would be and took a picture of the window where Oswald was... I did it quick so I wouldn't get hit by a crazy Dallas driver, but looking at the photo later gave me chills. Not sure what happened to that photo... think The G-Men snuck in and stole it.

Man oh man... the second box of magazines was worse that the first! Rural Arkansas means alot of fields... which have alot of little critters... a few (or many) must have found their way into the boxes, especially the second one, and went to town on the paper. The critters tear the paper and make beds with it. These were all in a "Double Wide" trailer where I lived for a few years. I only used half of it since it was just me who lived there. The 2 tiny rooms on the side I didn't use was used for storage. So you can imagine those little critters pretty much having free range on that side. The boxes that the magazines were in are cardboard, so it was easy for them to get in and destroy just about all of them!
Anywho... this is what I came away with from the second box:

It says Frank Sinatra took this photo...
