Being in her early 20's and not liking the Beatles is a little surprising. My aunts and uncles were born from 46 to 57 (on mom's side) and at least 3 of them liked Elvis more. Youngest Aunt (56) was the Beatles fan and was clearly the flower child of the group. One Uncle was a Johnny Cash super fan and the youngest liked all kinds of music. That must be where i get my taste from. I will call myself a musical mutt, because I really like all kinds of music. My mother was born in 1941, and thought the Beatles might have been in her music wheelhouse, but she was not a fan! My grandfather was in a barber shop quartet way back when, curious as to what he would have thought.....when the grandkids get in to their own kind of music, I'll be more than happy to tell them how awful it is!
I've always wondered what this particular card looked like. I've seen it on a trade list here. I was a huge fan of the Chiefs and Wille "Contact" Lanier. First Black Middle Linebacker in pro football.Faulk/Lanier '95 Edge Time Warp Black Label Prism

Get a a haircut hippie..........or whatever you say to the females of that species. LMAO!!Youngest Aunt (56) was the Beatles fan and was clearly the flower child of the group.

Interestging about Mahomes helmet but makes perfect sense. Another thing about Lanier is he needed an unusually large helmet size. That's a nice fun fact about Lanier's helmet. You can definitely tell it's not round like the others of that era.
Like Mahomes' helmet.... I always thought it looked way bigger than others and it turns out his helmet doesn't have as much plastic along the upper rim of his facemask. They made it for him so he can have better field of vision.

That's nuts! "I thought you were dead" his own teammate says to him... technically he was, 3 times! I joked about the extra protective padded helmet cover some players are wearing in games now a while back. I wish I could take that quip back. I sure as heck don't know what it's like getting in a car accident 40-60 times within a 3 hour period. You see these plays where the WR or RB is running out of bounds half speed and the defender will still come up and both players lower their heads and hit each other like rams on the nature channel... I don't think that's necessary and should maybe be looked at by the rules committee. If the league is so concerned with "cleaning up" the image of "unsportsmanlike" issues like taunting (lol) then a brain bleed due to too many blows to the head should be a priority as well. But like you said... The NFL cares!Interestging about Mahomes helmet but makes perfect sense. Another thing about Lanier is he needed an unusually large helmet size.
Here is a really interesting article about Lanier almost passing away on the field his rookie year. And it was "really nice" the Chiefs told him about it right after his final game 11 years later...........because the "NFL cares".

And I get the unusually large helmet size... I just had to "adjust" all my fitted caps that were 7 5/8 because all were too small and gave me headaches. What's the next size? The fi
