He was in Syracuse last weekend for the Miami/SU game. I'm sure he was not happy with the Canes blowing that huge lead!
Oh ya I'm sure he had some choice words for that! He used to frequent a Chili's bar my Dad and I went to to watch Cowboys games and drink. I love the guy but he never sat down and never shut up! lol He was always fun to be around though.

Ken Willard was a good solid fullback, racked up over 5000 yds - which got me to thinking about how and when the RB position transitioned away from fullbacks to halfbacks. Little, Csonka, Harris, Campbell were still in the FB mold. By the time ED came around in the mid 80's, FBs were vanishing. I think of The Bus as maybe the last true FB. Derrick Henry is a throwback to the bruising fullback of yore.
just nabbed his rc from the 66 set i'm working on.
Here's that Ken Willard rc

With the off arm extended like a club to ward off tacklers as he does in so many of his cards! Man those 1966 Philadelphia cards are nice looking, maybe my favorite foiotball issue in terms of appearence.
I think what I really like about this set is they remind me of Monopoly deeds. They must have been designed with that in mind.

PS - I only need 30 to complete. Knocking off the commons first before concentrating on the missing stars.
