    That's actually one of my problems with sticker autos. Obviously, with someone like Ripken it's not an issue but players like Hudson they can stick them on any card they want. After his Dodger days Hudson wouldn't have put his name on a Dodger card and that would have made those cards much rarer...

    That's just crazy ! How many people at that time even had 1,000 of those cards ? And then to have them stay together for 100 years ? The Keno brothers had/have? a show along that line.

    I say give it a shot then. But start small so if there is something you missed it won't hurt you too badly.

    I think what you're missing is something already stated. You're looking to buy items for $1 and flip them for 3-$4. You might score a deal like that here and there but certainly not even close to often enough to make a living.

    All good points. It is their business and they can do what they want. And, if I remember correctly, one of the major contributing factors in the demise of Yahoo auctions was it was free to list and quickly became a dumping ground for all the aforementioned stuff that's virtually unsellable.

    Selling for a relative, and I've already got stumped a few times!

    I don't know anything about the Nabisco auto set but in my experience framing only makes a small difference in the price of cards. It seems the price of framing FAR exceeds any extra value. Like if you had the 4 basic Ripken rookiesin in nrmtmt condition they might sell for 120-$145 as a group...
