    Some more vintage stuff

Been spending a lot of time at my girlfriend's as I've been recovering from a broken heel. It's nice to have a trained nurse for a girlfriend in these instances. Sent a PM today.

2016 Topps "Buyback" cards? Red stamps?

I wonder if I need the Torre for that set? :) FYI, my 1969 Topps set link is not showing on my site correctly but I have another link available for the 146 cards needed.

2016 Topps "Buyback" cards? Red stamps?

I have found them at shops and shows to be valued in the $3 or $4 range as they sell in $0.50 boxes (3 for $1). Some will be found in dollar boxes as a Manny Sanguillen I spotted at the TriStar show in SF in April, I have never seen these offered at higher but again the Sanguillen was the...

    WTTF 1994 and 1995 Finest

Bookmarking this. I have a large box with I'm sure a number of hits, but I broke my heel two weeks ago and will be another two months healing to unstack boxes.

    Estate sale purchases

Yeah, popped in a couple of days ago. My cards had been packed up since my move three years ago, but I've been able to organize the garage a little and stumbled upon my trade box.

Desert Shield. As a parallel collector I zeroed in on that, the Artist Proof, and the Museum Collection.

WTTF possibly lower grade 1971 Topps Baseball

Hello again Jeff, been off this site for the last couple of years since my cards were packed away after my move 3 years ago, but I did go through one box and had these 8 high numbers including the Sparky Anderson, Rich Allen, and Jon Matlack RC: 646, 648, 650, 688, 696, 712, 733, 748. I also...

I have my Close to Finished Sets wantlists up on my site, there is some basketball, but mostly 90's stuff. I do have a number of base/RC/inserts even parallels of what you are looking for.

Looking for these pinnacle museum cards to complete my sets

Those are the exchange ones, very difficult to pry loose from people. I had one in my partial set (etiher Nen or Berroa) that I swapped out in a much larger trade. Best of luck on that, if you have other parallel sets you are working on I could probably help as that is my collecting focus if...

BSL Update: End Of Reg Season 2018

Giants checking in then I'm out for 3 1/2 weeks as I do another cruise as well as some travel to family and friends, and also a business conference in DC toward the end. Started the year horribly and turned it around including a 20-8 September. The killer for me this year was a lack of a...

I'd love to get it. How big an SASE do you need, 8x10? How thick a top load for the cut?

What is the most you ever spent on a single card?

I bought an off-grade 1953 Bowman Color Mickey Mantle for $160 about 10-15 years ago, sold it with a Berra and Musial at a show for $500.

BSL Update: 2017 End of Reg Season

I don't know, I lost my possible rookie of the year in CF Albert, not much depth there which is why he was called up as a rookie after the fade of Zhu.

Player Collectors: 2004 Skybox LE Artist Proof

I was only able to access my mid-range box (generally #/99 to #/200), hoped I would have my #50s with the regular Gold Proofs, but although I have 20 something of them none were Artist Proofs.

    BSL Vote: FA Compensation

My sentiment exactly. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't a Type A only costing teams holding picks 16-30 a 1st RDer, everyone else a 2nd RDer? It helps the lessor teams by making sure not only that they don't lose an early pick, but as you said signing a good free agent may only cost them the...
