1969 Topps Baseball Backs

Hello Benchies,

Did 1969 Topps have various backs? I purchased a lot of close to 100 cards and a few didn't have the Topps Logo. Notice Banks and Aaron below. I also noticed that all of the 'Rookie Stars' have the same no logo back. I'm thinking they're O-***-Chee maybe?

Not sure about the difference, but OPC would have Printed in Canada on the back, so they are Topps.

There were back variations, yes. Not sure why, but there were.

Looks like the ones that don't have the personal info (height, weight etc.) in a "box", but rather stretched across the top, don't have the stylized Topps logo.

Maybe Aaron and Banks didn't want cartoon to go along with their stats!

Browsing thru the handful of cards on TradingCardDB.com that have backs posted, it just looks like the players with more years piled up have the simpler back to make room for the stats. The guys with fewer lines of stats have the stylized logo and maybe a cartoon.
