I recently picked up a 2001 Fleer Platinum National Patch Time Rollie Fingers jersey card. Beckett lists an S1 and a S2 version. Does anyone know what this means? The card I have is not numbered on the back either.

Thanks,
John

It means series one and series two. All the S1 and S2 versions per player are priced the same, but I don't know the differences between each players' release.

I don't know about other players but I'm pretty sure Ripken was a home jersey and an away jersey and each had a different pic on the front. And no, they're not numbered. The numbers are Beckett numbers for cataloging purposes.

Not that you have to worry about but some players, like Ripken, have national patch time jerseys AND national patch time RC jerseys.

So, I just figured it out thanks to checkoutmycards.com.

Series 1 has a 20th anniversary logo

Series 2 has a RC (rookie card?) logo

The poses are also slightly different.

Thanks for the help,
John
