Heritage 2019 in the style of 1970 Topps. The design of the cards is very true to the original. The front is semi-slick and the reverse is matte finish. The reverse has a very short write up - a factoid if you will - personal stats, and complete pro stats.
Heritage again is a must for the set builder. A 400 card base set and a 100 card SP set for a complete set of 500 cards. If one were to only buy boxes, it would take a minimum of 9 boxes to complete the set.... should you attempt this in this manner, I would suggest that one buys all of the boxes from the same case. It could prove to be problematic should various boxes be purchased from several random cases.
There are a number of inserts as in the past - Flashbacks, Then and Now, chrome parallels, glossy backs, action variations - to name a few. I believe this particular box had a good ratio of parallels/inserts to base and SP's.
I felt rather fortunate to pull a Real One Auto. I don't know the insertion rate, but normally I pull the relic. The auto is on card - blue Sharpee -- well done!
Overall grade A
Go buy a bunch of boxes and send the Rays and the Rays inserts to me!
