Just curious for an update.

Who was able to attend? How was the crowd? What did you pick up? you know, give those of us who wanted to go an update on what we're missing. :p
I went last year to Baltimore and hung out with Champs96WS and had a blast. We met a few Bench members. I tried to go this year, but had some family obligations. I doubt I will go next year to Cleveland, but am definitely planning on AC in 2015.

So let's hear some reports and see some pick up pictures!

Thanks,

Wish I was able to attend, but wasn't going to happen. Maybe Cleveland next year, but more than likely AC will be the next real possibility for me.

Hope everyone who did attend had a great time and maybe picked up some Pucketts they want to trade.....

Was there Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. Puig and getting in line first for the elusive giveaways were all the rage this year. Since I had no interest in that aspect of the National it didn't really effect me. I've been to every National in the last 10 or so years and I thought that attendance was up this year. Blowoutcards was amazing!!! They gave away a ton of great stuff including tickets to the Panini VIPparty last night (you had to spend $7,500 in Panini product at the show to get a ticket). I was able to get deals from every dealer that I bought from. I am still exhausted from the show but I am happily going through all of my stuff. Will be in Cleveland next year, have to think about Atlantic City on 2015.

If you have any questions about the show, PLMK.

Thanks,
Melissa

Just got home a little while ago. Exhausted. Was there Saturday and Sunday. Not as many tables as I remembered from the last time in Chicago. I too stayed away from giveaways, etc. Saturday seemed busy, today was much quieter. Dealers looking to deal toward end of the show.

My highlights:

Finished my 1970 Topps set and made a lot of progress on 1969 Topps

Picked up 3 1933 Goudeys in decent shape - Carl Hubbell, Joe Cronin and a common

Some nice SP set hits in the buck and quarter boxes. (Honestly, I could do that for days)

More cards for the trade boxes

And the big find was coming home with 3 autographed bats for my HOF bat rack display - Harmon Killebrew, Willie Mays and Ernie Banks.

Undecided about Cleveland next year but had a great time hanging out with my kids at the show this year.

Scott
