The fact that they are w/o logos, team names and photos makes them look amateurish to me. Yes, they are licensed and made by a once glorious card maker...and they are less boring that a blank 3x5, so I will give that. The names in the checklist are excellent. Why not, with all the left over stickers they seem to have. It's a way to make some money. Heck, I would probably try if I were them.
For me, there is more to the hobby than just an autograph or a card of a player though. Generally it needs to appeal to me as well. Sometimes something jumps out at me that otherwise would be a pass for a different player. Sadly, my taste goes out the window when I am player collecting.
I'll try to buy any with Garvey, but I do so only because I am one of those warped player collectors who must try to get everything. Call me a sucker while you're at it, because that kind of collector will buy anything, EVEN GARBAGE!!
Like I said before, they suck, but they will sell and it appears some people actually even like them. To each their own. Did I mention that I think they SUCK? I just wanted to be clear on that point!
