Hey Kevin...........In July we had 43 homicides in a one month time period............This place is crazy but never dull............Probably the 3rd deadliest place to live in the US..........

Is Memphis really that violent? That is sad. We live about 40 minutes outside of STL, another unfortunately violent place. It is terrible, I hope the future brightens in so many places!

King of Memphis.......Death day was not the same with the Covid crap......

I'm sure. I think I heard they only let 700 people through for the candlelight vigil. Craziness

The 68 Comeback was the pinnacle for me, Elvis at his very best....If I Can Dream was my favorite of his performances ever!!

Been to Graceland 4 times, love it so much!! Memphis is a great town!!

Blessings,

Kevin

We were supposed to go in November for my birthday, with wife, brother and sister in law. Postponing til spring when things are better, hopefully.
That is one of those songs that will give you chills anytime you hear it. I had it blasted today as I was running errands. WAY TOO MUCH hate in the world right now.

I just googled top 25 most violent cities in American. Tennessee has 3 in the top 25. Chattanooga, Nashville and Memphis. That's crazy!

Billy

I had a server that worked for me at the casino a few years ago, and she was from Memphis and some one asked her if she was worried because at the time (about 3 years ago) Milwaukee's race issues were getting stirred up again and she was just like, Milwaukee ain't nothing compared to Memphis.

Memphis would top anyones list of race relations...........I've lived here 30 years, being born in Ohio, and am still not use to it...........When we first moved here it was a serious culture shock, to say the least.............I think it was the whole MLK, Jr. being killed here, but that's just a theory...........

Only been to Memphis once - absolutely loved it, can't wait to go back. Hit Graceland, a Red Birds game, stayed right off of Beale Street and hit what seemed like about 50 different bars and restaurants!
