Been on here since 2021, but now I'm back.

I made a post looking for some cards on Facebook, and I was recommended to this site. I went to create a username, but my email was already in use. So I finally got logged in, and I realized I became a member in 2021. However, I haven't been around since then. I have, however, been on Blowout, Net54, SportsCardForum, Beckett, Facebook and others. So not new to the whole online dealings. Just wanted to pop back in and say I'm back becuase I don't think I even made a post or posted a comment the first time around.

I collect Texas Rangers. My main PCs are Ian Kinsler, Michael Young and playing days cards of Nolan Ryan. I also PC Tyrell Jenkins (former 1st round draft pick of the Cardinals, made his MLB debut for the Braves). The only football I collect is Cowboys rookie linebacker Demarvion Overshown (I don't collect football, but my father in law was his head coach in high school).

I'm a frequent on Blowout (crazy4kinsler, 521 positive feedback), Beckett (crazyforkinsler5, 658 trader rating score), SCF (sfacujackcat, 109 positive), Net54 and eBay (collectorscornertx, 3080 positive). I posted all those to say I'm not new to trading and buying/selling sports cards. I love it.

Just wanted to come here, create a post, explain who I am and what I collect. Thanks.

Question for the masses. What values do people around here use? I am on SCF, and everyone uses Beckett. I didn't realize anyone still looked at Beckett. Every time I ask someone what the actual value is, they say oh Beckett says this. I would say no the actual comp. They're like there's no other comps. I mention eBay, and they said nobody uses eBay. However, on Blowout, Facebook, etc, everyone it seems to use eBay. That's what I use. So just curious.

I think it just really depends on what your trading or selling. i use both as it iam moving someone that very hot. ill take a look at ebay to keep up with the masses. if iam moving a five year old insert. ill most likely use the current beckett guide. they both have their place in the hobby. Just a head's up,I know Hoosierbuddy had a nice collection of Kinsler but I don't know what his current situation is. Last I knew he was selling his stuff.
