Final 2 packages have arrived. I will be doing the randomization of the draft order in the AM.
Everyone...it looks like we are ready to go to the next step...katester44 is going to post the draft order, and I will post the list of draftees as soon as I get a chance (working today)...
Here you go -- randomized the list 10 times and took the average for draft placement. At this point, a new thread should be started with this list as the top post and the 2nd post should be the list of cards available. Once the draft gets underway, if you feel as though you will miss your pick due to being away from a computer, you can send me a list of the cards you would want and they will be auto-drafted for you in your absence. If you have questions/concerns, please voice them now - not after the draft starts and not after it ends. Once it starts/ends, there will be no ability to make changes.

First pick is always such a catch 22, yes, get the number one card you wanted, but then don’t pick again until 24 more cards are gone! Whereas someone like you, you get two of your top 15 picks.
True but I sent in a 40.00 card that you may end up with. Doubt there were 12 of those sent in. But thats the beauty of it though. I think it will be fun all around.
Completely agree! This is all for fun, and I am hoping to add some PC Cards. Value does not much matter to me, it’s all about turning cards that don’t fit the PC into cards that do.

No doubt I got last pick that pretty much sucks.
Last pick isn’t bad in a snake. You are guaranteed your 13th and 14th pick. Out of 65 picks, that’s not too shabby. That’s also assuming that players 1-12 take all 12 of the first cards you wanted, which is pretty unlikely.

Draft spots can also be traded, so you can always try and trade for higher spots if you wanted.

Sounds great! Does that mean we will start the draft today, or do you want to wait until tomorrow? I'm good with however you want to do it, I just want to make sure I am ready if I am the one to kick this off, and I dont want to start the clock at a time that does not work for everyone else.
I was thinking of posting shortly, giving everyone a chance to look at the list, do any trades during the tampering period, and then start the draft tomorrow at 8 am
that is why i was hesitant to do it, but general consenus was it was fairer to everyone...if its not I can change for the next one thanks
8am sounds fine to me. So that would give me until 2pm to make my choice.

It is absolutely the most fair way. I’m not complaining. I typically don’t like having first pick in a snake for that reason, but I’m also not going to be upset about getting my first choice.
