The guy I'm selling for has a complete set minus 2 cards, I forgot how big the set is but they are in like 15 2 row boxes all in top loaders. I have search completed auction on Ebay and really didn't get any good ideas except for maybe doing player lots, then after that do misc. lots. I'm definitely going to list them. Any Ideas?

Any chance he would want to sell the final 4 cards we need to us? So we can sell the complete Bench YSL set? If he is willing to sell his set incomplete, 2 cards v. 6 cards shouldn't make a difference.

I'm the one selling the cards and I know trying to sell as one massive set would probably never work. I won't pick the cards up for a month or so and I can check then if he has the cards. Can you give me the numbers ?

Here you go:
CARDS STILL NEEDED FOR THE YSL SET:
3663 Bobby Murcer
4312 Reggie Jackson
5683 Joe Torre
5953 Derek Jeter

We are offering well above book value to acquire the final 4 that are needed. Thanks.

This will be awesome if thebench set can get completed after all these years!

Such a monumental accomplishment, I hope it gets done.

If you have the time, you could list them all out on eBay in one of those chose your card sales. That way people could go through and pick the ones they need. It would be time consuming, but I bet doing it that way would end up with maximizing profits. I would imagine somewhere in the $10-15K range.

That is what I have been doing with our YSL dupes - listing player lots where I can.

If I knew how to set up one of the choose your card sales listings, I would 100% do that.

Sorry can’t help you there. I don’t sell on eBay only buy.

I think this might be what I am talking about for how to do it. Maybe this will help you.

Close but no cigar. I think I need to do a deep dive into Ebay and do the appropriate research. Once figure it out, will post it for all to use! This is one of those things, if I can figure it out, anyone will be able to.

The easy way is to search for an auctions format you like. I just searched pick 1 maddux and picked the first auction i found.

Under the auction pic - have one to sell - sell now - click

The tricky part is to Create variations - click

Now click the + Create your own

Click Attributes, check box,

(sample)
maddux 1
maddux 2
maddux 3

click done when you get them in there. Choose automatic rows when option shows then add your pic for each card. When done with that part save and close then it will kick you to the auction details. It's better to start small cause you could click wrong option then you will have to start all over.

I would also say player lots for the better money on certain players. I use to see people selling random lots which would help getting rid of all players and your not stuck with 1000's people have no need for unless going for the set.

Doing my due diligence and checking in on the status of this? Fingers crossed that the final 4 cards we need are available!!

I only got 1-2500 last visit, trying to get more sellable cards first then bulk cards later. Only so much time in the day. DG
