It's simple really. Let's use Sabathia as an example. If you look at a product like Leaf Certified, there is one 1/1, the mirror black. Then look at moments & milestones, and there are 230 Red 1/1's. If you sell the Mirror Black on ebay, you're looking at $50. If you sell one of those reds, you're hoping for $5. That's because, even though both cards are numbered "1/1", the Mirror Black is much much rarer. You only have 1 shot at getting it, instead of 230 shots at it.
