Hey guys. I am home sick today, so I figured I'd make some updated scans of my White Sox collection. Just let me know if you have any nice Sox stuff available. Thanks, Mike

I hope so. I think his injury will heal. Thanks for the post.

Just a few new additions.

Micah Johnson is an up and coming prospect for the Sox. He's a really fast guy and I think him and Adam Eaton will be a potent 1-2 combo for many years to come. :)

IMG_0015_zps54d58509.jpg

Charlie Maxwell played for the Sox from 1962-1964. He was most known for his time on the Tigers, but I liked the look of this card so I picked it up.

Here's some new additions. :)

Joe Cunningham played for the Sox between 1962 and 1964. His best season with the Sox came in 1962 when he hit 8 homeruns and 70 RBI's. He was also and All-Star in 1959.

Jason Bere played for the Sox between 1993 and 1998. He was an All Star in the Strike-shortened 1994 season.

Juan Uribe played for the Sox between 2004 and 2008. He was a very important part of the World Series, where he made an amazing diving catch in the stands. He is currently playing for the Dodgers.

Here's some new additions.

Erik Johnson had a 3-2 record last year in a short stint with the Sox. He struggled early this year, so hopefully he can turn it around.

Matt Davidson was acquired by the Sox for Addison Reed last offseason. He hasn't made it to the bigs yet with the Sox but hopefully he'll be ready to go for next year.

Dayan "Tank" Viciedo's best year for the Sox came in 2012, when he hit 25 homers with 78 RBI's. He's been struggling lately, hopefully he can turn it around.

Carlos Quentin played for the Sox from 2008-2011. His best season was in 2008 when he hit 36 homeruns and 100 RBI's. He was an All-Star in 2008 and 2011.

Adam "Spanky" Eaton was acquired this offseason as well. I love his hustle and approach to the game. He reminds me of Aaron Rowand. Hopefully he'll be in centerfield for the Sox for a long time. :D

Here's some of my favorite Konerko autos in group scan form.

Paul Konerko has played for the Sox between 1999-2014. He has been one of the best players the Sox have ever had, and he is also my favorite player. He has 438 career homeruns and he's the White Sox franchise leader in total bases. He was also the MVP of the 2005 ALCS, and he hit a clutch grand slam in the World Series that year. Thanks!

Thanks for the new updates, its fun to see your great progress! Joe Cunningham is a really nice guy, he does the Fredbird school program with STL, and he has made it to my former school before, and I hosted him and Tim, who plays Fredbird the day they were there. Very funny, lots of great stories, but my favorite was when he showed me his Championship ring, as a member of the Cardinals organization. I commented on how nice it was, and then showed him my Wedding ring, and I said "Here's my championship ring, Joe" and he laughed and said "keep swingin' slugger!"

Awesome story!!
nice group of cards. For some reason, the 1984 Topps Ron Kittle really caught my eye!

Thanks guys, here are some new additions.

Bobby Jenks pitched for the White Sox from 2005 to 2010. He was a flamethrowing rookie that helped the Sox win the World Series in 2005. He was also a 2 time All Star (2006/2007). He also retired 41 straight batters in 2007.

Gavin Floyd pitched for the White Sox from 2007 to 2013. His best season was in 2008 when he went 17-8.

Adam Eaton is currently playing for the Sox in his first year with the team. He currently is hitting .280 with 25 RBI's. He is a good piece for the future.

Micah Johnson is currently a prospect in the Sox Minor League system. He's supposed to be really good, so hopefully he lives up to the hype.

Jacob May is also a prospect. Hopefully he pans out as well.

IMG_0008_zpse13c2f45.jpg

Marcus Semien debuted this year. He is currently in the Minor Leagues. Hopefully he can reach his potential.

Brent Lillibridge played for the Sox between 2009 to 2012. He was a good utility player for the Sox.

Al Lopez was a Hall of Fame manager for the Sox between 1957 and 1965 and again in 1968 and 1969. He led the Sox to the pennant in 1959 but they lost to the Dodgers.

My post today will not have a ton of new additions, but I feel like quality makes up for quantity in this case. :)

Frank Thomas played for the White Sox between 1990 and 2005. With the Sox, he was a 5 time All Star (1993-1997), a 4 time Silver Slugger Winner (1991, 1993, 1994, 2000), a 2 time AL MVP (1993 and 1994), a World Series Champion (2005), and he hit 448 homers with the Sox. Next, is a Chris Sale Strata Autograph that I pulled all the way back in December, but I hadn't posted it in this thread yet.

Then, I picked up a Scott Podsednik autograph. He was on the World Series team in 2005, and he hit a walk-off homer in game 2. He was also an All Star that season and had 59 stolen bases.

IMG_0007_zpsg541fhtw.jpg

Next, I picked up a Freddy Garcia autograph. He was a key member of the '05 team as well, picking up 14 wins with a 3.87 ERA that year.

IMG_0008_zps4krt3xss.jpg

I have also wanted to get an Abreu autograph for a long, long time. I finally found one on eBay that was for a solid price, so I figured I might as well buy it.

Lastly, here are some new Blue Refractors. :)
