Last night I decided to go to the Frisco Rough Riders game to see if I could knock out some guys from the two team sets I am working on...I did pretty well, with help from some bullpen pitchers...haha. I haven't ever had another player go over to guys to help me with autos. I am going again tomorrow night to try and get the last two guys that I need, as well as the San Antonio Missions coach who is a former Ranger/Cub - Doug Dasenzo. Steve Buechele actually remembered me from the Rangers Fan Fest last year...he said "aren't you the guy from Mississippi" Haha. Here is what I came away with last night...duplicates that are for trade/sale have already been added into my bucket. PM me if you're interested in any of them.

Today, I drove out to Fort Worth for a signing the Rangers were having with Derek Holland at a local Whataburger. I got there and the line was already massive, because I thought it was later in the afternoon. We decided to stay and wait to see if we could get in...they were only allowing one auto per person, but we were two of the last five people they let in the door to get an autograph so I was feeling pretty luck (especially after how good I did at the Riders game the night before). Only two cards, but they came out awesome I think...

Thanks man. Yeah the line for Holland was nuts. I figured not many people would be able to make it with school starting and people having to work...well, I was wrong...but, glad I got in!! I am about to head back to the apartment and dig out cards of Dasenzo and Jimmy Jones....Halk's buddy, haha.

Agreed. He was the only Ranger I got that day and I wouldn't have got him if he didn't override the security guy and tell him that he wasn't going to stop signing until everyone was done.

awesome successes! I know all about trying something different with the sharpies...the Roy Oswalt I got in person was in green because it was the only one I had in my pocket at the time...the rest were with a friend still in the stadium...I took a chance and left quick once I saw Oswalt was taken out of the game...still cool to get him though!
