DROUGHT has Ended! 2 New Dean Palmers Incoming!

Wow... so it's been over a year since I've gotten a new Dean Palmer in... I search ebay a couple times a week and nothing new. I think Burbank has 2 or 3 I need, but they are all 2-3x BV or more... regardless... these 2 I've been wanting forever! 1st... incoming is a 1997 Flair Legacy Row 2 /100... regardless... these are tough from 1997... got a 2 card lot of them (Other is Renteria) for I think $6.95 dlvd, and it was BIN so I jumped on it! I would have paid that price for just the Dean Palmer!

The other one is a white whale of mine... only have seen one other onj ebay and it sold super high... like $40 dlvd. or something... regardless it has been YEARS since another surfaced... and I sniped the heck out of it Ended up getting it for under $19.45 dlvd...

1999 FLEER TRADITION STARTING NINE (Serial #ed 1/9)!!!!!!

I can not wait to get this one in!

Sorry I had to share... when you get down to some toughies, I get excited landing one, let alone 2! (heck, his easy inserts can be tough since people toss him in common box!)

Thanks... I am lucky the wife gave me some tax return money to spend on cards... wasnt much but it covered these 2! Man, I wish I had a full time job!

Yeah I hear ya! I actually picked up ANOTHER Dean Palmer I needed today... the 2001 Fleer Triple Crown PURPLE... these were tough parallels... paid almost BV for it... but it only books $2

Congrats on the pick up. I know what you mean with regards to picking up cards of players like him. I collect Phil Plantier and Kevin Maas stuff and those are few and far between and even when you do find them it is more than double book value.

I mam unsure why the 1997's are so hard to find... the 1998 versions, I must have had 3 or 4 of each "row" on Dean Palmer at one point... the 1997's, just can't find... I bet the Ryno's go super high when you see them!

I don't have any of those other Palmers, but I'll keep an eye out when I go to Gibraltar (monthly card show in Detroit area.)
