Today I went out to a local Wal-Mart about ten miles from my house because I heard that former Dallas Cowboy Duane Thomas was going to be signing autographs for a donation to Children's Miracle Network. I wasn't sure of the prices so I took my checkbook and hoped it wasn't going to be too bad for the price. I got there and he was just sitting at a table waiting on people to come up, with no line at all. I walked up and asked him how much for a mini helmet and he said $40. I still think it was kinda steep, but worth it to get an awesome inscription; except he mis-spelled TEXAS Stadium. I haven't ever been to "Tezas Stadium" before. Still a nice pickup I think. Mini helmet collection is getting pretty nice!! I will post pics of it once I get a few more...going to get Ed Too Tall Jones & Nate Newton on Wednesday night.



I also went out to Hat Tricks in Lewisville this past Wednesday and got Joe Avezzano on a mini helmet. I got him on a full size & Desperados mini a few weeks ago.

That's awesome, Andrew! I loved watching Thomas run with the ball his rookie season in Dallas. An amazing player who's career ended way too soon.
