EBAY " Buy It Now" Question

There are 2 cards I would like to purchase that are "buy it now(s)" ,
however , I'd like to wait for my EBAY BUCKS to become available .
Since I'd hate to have someone else get them befor Jan. 3rd , I contacted the seller
and asked if he'd mind if I could "commit to buy" but , pay on the 3rd.
He said sure and go ahead and use the "buy it now" and then , pay later.
It seems that I can't do that though , unless I'm missing something ?
Is it possible to ,somehow, to do this or do I just have to wait and hope they're
still available come Sunday ?

The seller may have selected the "Require Immediate Payment" option in his listing. You can ask him to change this requirement so you could put them "on hold" until the 3rd.

What happens when you put the two items together in your cart and try to pay for them?

All I seem to be able to do is go to pay pal and confirm payment .... looks like I'm going to have to wait , if I want to use "the bucks"
