How can this card go from $300 to $100???

2003 Upper Deck Game Face Patch #IS Ichiro Suzuki $100.00

It's been $300 since it came out and up to a week ago. I can see it going down a bit
but this is too much.

I need thoughts on this.

Thanks, Bob

That would require Beckett to actually be doing their job. There are LOADS of cards that should have down arrows, but that wouldn't support Beckett's delusional idea of the state of the hobby.

If it was valued at $300 since it came out in 2001, then Beckett should have lowered the price long ago. He's still popular, but not nearly as much as he was in 2001. If Beckett had accurately moved the value all along it would have gradually decreased from $300 to $100...but since they overlooked it for years, it just dropped all at once.

$300 for an Ichiro patch card is ridiculously high.

The value on that one should have gone down a long time ago.

Sadly this can sum up everything. Unless it's a 1/1 (which obv wouldn't have pricing) I don't know how you can justify a purchase of an Ichiro patch. Nothing against him as a person, I just don't think his stuff is going for that type of money. And the BV should reflect upon market values as stated. Everyone here did a great job pointing out multiple things, such as slacking and dropping it all at once other then gradually. But hey I still wonder why a 1989 Craig Biggio rc books more than a 1989 Sheffield rc.
