for me i think it would be albert pujols or matt kemp. maybe justin verlander because he is throwing good and im really, really liking joe mauer and brian mccann. your thoughts please.

current player?? depends on what you are trying to accomplish...Pujols or Ichiro for my nephew..

Not a current player ... but I'd like three Rickey Henderson autographs on the three '83 Fleer cards he appears on.... :)

not trying to accomplish anything, just having a friendly fun conversation since i am bored right now, thats all!

I think he was just saying it depends on what kind of project any given person is working on, the 'you' wasn't directed at anyone specific.

I'm not sure on active players who I'd want, I'm not too into autographs of todays players, just seems odd to be going gonzo over someones auto who wasn't even born when I started drinking legally. Nothing to do with what I think of the players abilities or what we see of their character, it's just that I'd sit there thinking "I'm chasing the autograph of someone who hasn't even voted in a Presidential election in their life yet" There are only about 10 players in MLB older than me at the moment, and I've got some that are younger, but it's pretty much HOF type career players ( including those who may have been in the PED camp) If I want it from my past or the present, I get it. There aren't many out there that are unavailable, either for free by TTM/IP, or being able to be purchased from when they WERE available. I want a Jim Thome, I buy it, I want a Ripken I send him one. Some of these players are pricing themselves out of the market. I hear Jim Kaat is looking for $25 per, I have a tough time paying that TTM when I can pick up someone elses Kaat for $3 dlvd on ebay, or $5-15 at shows, from other TTM'ers. And I really don't pick up new players when they cost more than 283 game winners for a player who was tearing up Single A ball, or a 28 year old in his first full season, no matter how hot he is
