2005 Turkey Red set is one that I have made almost no trades on in several yrs. I would love to finish the 05 set as it was the first release.

So many to choose from  Here are my two toughest.

2001 Donruss Classics - I have the Pujols RC, Ichiro RC and even the non-released Koufax. Still need 7 of the Sp's, mostly RC's. Darn you Jack Cust

2002 Fleer Tradition - Saw this one earlier on a posting here. Have needed last 2 Sp's for a looong time.

Was housecleaning my subscriptions and came across this one. Resurrecting as I believe it helped some people. I know it helped me :D

My 2001 Donruss Classics set is down to 1 card - Bud Smith. I have never seen one, but Beckett lists as a Rookie Common.

Cool thread! Mine is the 2004 Topps Gold parallel set. My son was born 9/26/04 and I'd busted quite a bit of 2004 Topps so I thought it'd be doable and a nice first set for him. Turns out not to be so doable, as I still need lots of them (listed on my blog). I'd love to pick some up if anyone has them floating around in boxes.

I don't know if it has been mentioned, but I've been doing really well completing my sets using COMC. It helped me finish off all of my non SP Ginter sets and at least three or four other sets I was working on. I've been selling a lot of cards on there, so I'm basically trading stuff I do not need for the cash to purchase the cards I do need. I have not sent in any money yet.

Thanks for bringing this one back. For me, it is 2 sets that have been driving me nuts, 2001 Donruss and 2002 Fleer Tradition. Here's what I still need for each.

2001 Donruss (211/220 - 96.5%): #156, 157, 159, 166, 167, 176, 177, 187, 195

2002 Fleer Tradition: #53, 59, 63

Not sure if these will ever get completed.

Thanks,

For me the set I've been working on the longest is probably 1994 Triple Play Medalists. They aren't tough but I think a lot of them were miscut or they have bad foil. Would be easy enough to pick up the ones I need on comc, but I'd rather trade for them. I need 2, 4, 5, 7, 9, 10, and 12. :)

I didn't see a list in your blog but send me a PM if you need numbers 125, 251, 294, 304, 325, 400, 473, 516, 551, 582, or 634.

Thanks,
Richard

Hi Richard. It's about in the middle of my blog. By some miracle I have all of those already, but I appreciate your looking for me. Robert

Mine is 1998 Flair Showcase Row 0. I started on this set about 4-5 years ago, took a couple years off and have just recently started looking once again for the final 3: Frank Thomas, Mark McGwire, and Livan Hernandez, all /250. It seems like the Legacy parallels /100 show up more often than the regular versions of these, and when they do, they can go for pretty crazy amounts. Just a couple nights ago, the Livan Hernandez /250 sold for $26 (of course, I missed the boat last month and one sold for about $20 less with a BIN option)!!

I actually pulled that Smith /585. Way back when the product came out people horded them because of his first season, then after that he and Mark prior both had similar problems that lead to their demise. so it does exist

A yr has past and I still have not picked up any more of these :(

I'm also considering giving up on a few Topps Heritage sets. I'm mostly down to just sp's needed for the 06 and 07 sets. I've mainly been focused on completing older sets so if anyone would be interested in some starter Heritage sets send me a PM.

1984 Topps Sticker album

When I started collecting again 4 years ago, I pulled this album back out. I needed the Rick Dempsey and Lloyd Moseby, I went 3 and 1/2 years until I picked up the Dempsey in a trade from another site about a month ago. I couldn't believe it and now I wonder how long it will take to find the Moseby...I'd buy it if I could find it but I've never seen it.

Mine is this:

2007 Topps 52 Rookie Edition -

Black Back variations - 1 3 4 5 6 8 16 21 25 27 30 31 33 43 45 50 52 56 68 69 70 72 74 76 79 81 85 86 87 88 94 95 98 99 100 102 110 125

Not highly motivated and just cant seem to find them anywhere.

Thanks,

Jeff
