I am new to this site and a little bit about me. I have been a nearly exclusive John Olerud card/memorable collector since I had the chance to meet him at my first baseball game at the Orioles memorial stadium. He was decent to talk to not stuck up like my home team Orioles players were that day. As it was my first game I didn't come prepared to meet what would become my boy hood idol so the only thing I had for him to sign was my ticket stub. Which I would have on my wall all over the world via the US Army. I would love to say I have everything I ever acquired unfortunately fate would throw a curve and I would lose most to a burglary and I've decided to get back at it! Now retired I have been on this path for the last two years so far I've acquired 1600 ish cards of his catalog. Mostly doing trades with other collectors on TCDB I find the online auction sites to be a little shady. I am always open to trades or purchasing cards from those fellow collectors I meet along this path. Thanks for accepting me to your forum Jeff R.
