Hey folks,

Driving up from Texas to Cleveland on Tuesday/Wednesday, planning on hounding the Jake on Thursday. Wondering who you experts think would be likely to sign on these two teams, and who I may as well not bother with (besides Ichiro and Felix at least)

I'll be going for the M's inside the ballpark (noon game, so I'm planning on getting there around 11), then the Tribe afterward by the parking lot. If anyone thinks I should do something different, please, I'm all ears.

Note that I'm staying in Independence, so don't try to tell me to hound the hotel postgame Wednesday or super-early Thursday-- it ain't happening.

I have cards of almost everyone, it's just a matter of how many these guys will sign (I have 1-4 cards of everyone, except a select few like McAllister, Luetge, Iwakuma, and Kelley).

I have never seen/heard/etc an Ichiro signed card, so cross that off still ;)
Montero has been hard when he was with Scranton/Yankees last year
Damon was a good signer when he was in Detroit, pregame or parking lot

The general rule of thumb is that younger guys will sign more, so prepare more for them and less for the Felix's and Hafner's of the world. Also keep an eye on coaches and people who may travel w/ the team (like Griffey Jr. COULD be with the team since he is known for his Cincy ties, and he isn't far away while in Cleveland).

That reminds me, Jason Phillips is a good signer (M's bullpen catcher, former Mets C) but I don't know when people get him. Maybe pregame.

Excellent, got cards on Phillips in case I somehow have a shot at him. Totally forgot about Griffey. Will pull one of him just in case.

I'm not putting much hope on Hafner for sure. I hounded the Jake all of the Summer of 2005 and got him a whole one time.
