No picture cards?

I was at the card store the other day and in the dollar box they had a lot of cards that were regular on the back, but the front was totally white...anyone ever seen these kind of cards and know what the story is behind them if so? I didn't get any of them just because I wasn't sure if there was anything special about them or not.

They're blank front cards. The Shop At Home network used to sell them,along with blank back and wrong back late 80s and early 90s cards in 3200 ct. boxes back in the day. An oddity and cool for player and team collectors,but value-wise I don't think they're worth a whole lot.

Do a search on ebay for blank and/or error.
This seller http://completed.shop.ebay.com/wing...1&_fln=1&_ipg=25&_trksid=p3911.c0.m283&_rdc=1 had few of them. Apparently not much demand for them. Dollar box sounds about right for most of them.
