One of my faves!I seem to remember this card from somewhere...
Haven't seen too many in good shape. Nice card!
LMAO!! . You got that right. For some reason thais particular card always stuck out in my mind as one of my earliest sports card memories! It seems I remember more commons from back then, than I do the stars. There are probably 8 to 10 commons from this set that I remember so fondly, Mr. Tubbs being one of them. Here he is... The Man... The Myth... The Legend... JERRRRRRRRRRRRY TUBBS!!!!!

1965 Topps and Philadelphia foortball cards were the very first sports cards I remember as a kid. 1966 Topps was the first baseball set I remember.
Here is an interesting Jerry Tubbs fact. He played 31 games for Oklahoma in college and was 31-0!! Tommy McDonald who also appered as a Cowboy in the 1965 Phialadelphia set did the same thing. Obviously both played during OU's long undefeated streak under Bud Wilkinson is the 1950's...........47 games I think.
I had to look that up but yes he is. He had quite the impressive college career.Wow! Is he in the College Football H.O.F.?
Lineman of the Year... Linebacker... Fullback... All-America Academics in Economics... this guy truly was a B.A.!I had to look that up but yes he is. He had quite the impressive college career.
