Ah geez... how many Famers they got???
The Dolphins? I'm going to guess 7 counting only players who played mainly with Miami. Marino, Griese, Csonka, Warfield, Little Langer and Buoniconti. Just remembered Dwight Stephenson so that makes 8. Rischles may know of others. I'm not real good on modern football so I very well may be missing someone.

Richard Lumber should be in the Hall but voters are jealous their parents did not give them a cool name like his! LMAO!!

  1. Chicago Bears - 37 HOFers
  2. Green Bay Packers 33 HOFers
  3. (TIE) New York Giants - 32 HOFers
  4. (TIE) Dallas Cowboys - 32 HOFers
  5. (TIE) Redskins - 32 HOFers
  6. Pittsburgh Steelers - 30 HOFers
  7. San Francisco 49ers - 29 HOFers
  8. Los Angeles Rams 27 - HOFers
  9. (TIE) Kansas City Chiefs - 25 HOFers
  10. (TIE) Oakland Raiders - 25 HOFers
  11. Philadelphia Eagles - 24 HOFers
  12. Cleveland Browns - 23 HOFers
  13. Minnesota Vikings - 22 HOFers
Here's the breakdown as of January 2024. Dolphins have 18. I'm guessing this includes any team a HOFer played for.

And which team is the youngest in the top 5??? Just sayin... and there are many many ex Cowboys who are in discussion every year. You should see Woodson get in this year.

I forgot Don Shula but that only gets me up to 9.

THe most amazing thing is Dallas having so many for such a young franchise. From that list only Dallas, the Raiders and the Chiefs would be considered "newer" teams. For them to only have 1 less HOFer than the much older Packers and tied with the Giants and Skins is astounding. I'm sure these numbers include players/coaches who only had a cup of coffee with various franchises but the Cowboys number is incredible!

And the oldest franchise in existance does not make the list. Poor Cardinals!

The Cowboys just need a freakin Super Bowl win SOON so that excuse can be done with... sooo much talent but folding in January. That's a coaching/front office problem if you ask me. They peak mid season. Maybe if the NFL goes to 18 games and 2 bye weeks that will help.

Ah geez... how many Famers they got???
Griese, Csonka, Warfield, Langer, Larry Little, Buoniconti, Coach Shula, Marino, Dwight Stephenson, Zach Thomas, Jason Taylor
That's 11 who were mainly Dolphins. Plus Kuechenberg, who ought to be in (6x ProBowl).
The count shouldn't be based on if someone played 1 year - Rivers and Ryan and Gore are not Colts. Not sure Deion is a Cowboy (Falcon yes, 49er yes, Cowboy and Raven uh...). Tommy McDonald? Nah, he's an Eagle. Herb Adderley is a Packer. Even my boy Zach Thomas ain't no Cowboy.

You make a good point... how about Jerry Rice? How many teams did he play for? Favre? T.O.? You get my point, I doubt some of those guys that went to other teams WANTED to go... remember, it's all business. Even Emmitt went to Arizona (SMH) and Larry Allen wound up in San Fran. Serious question... does the NFL designate a team for a player when they are enshrined? Like when Brady gets enshrined are they going to say he was a Patriot? Or is it just a fan's perspective like ours.

I think you have to look at it on a case by case basis. Brady won in TB, Manning won in Denver. Rice a Raider? No. Favre a Jet? No. Emmitt a Cardinal? No. Kurt Warner a Cardinal? Yes.

I'm not sure about the NFL but MLB has told certain players that they were not going into the Hall with the team they wanted. The best example of this is when Wade Boggs was going to get inducted as a Tampa Bay Ray until MLB put that idea to a halt.

AS for me, I want Mike Piazza to go in as a Marlin and Thurman Thomas to go in as a Dolphin.

Now THAT would make all the other guys at the ceremony just shake their heads....
